Free Online Lessons: Project Archaeology’s Response to Covid-19

Interim Director Erika Malo
I want to take a moment to reach out to you about how Project Archaeology (PA) is adapting to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. First off, I hope each and every one of you are safe and healthy. Project Archaeology is doing our best to bring together our free and downloadable resources for everyone to use. Over the next two weeks, we will hopefully bring you more resources from our incredible network members who are doing a great job at adapting their museums and classrooms for virtual learning. We are proud of the numerous PA Network members for everything they are doing – you embody what it means to be a friend, neighbor, and community member.

Project Archaeology staff are working remotely and can be reached via email (Erika Malo Erika.malo@montana.edu and Kate Hodge Katherine.hodge@montana.edu) or you can call our office phones (Erika 406-994-6727 and Kate 406-994-7582), leave a message, and we will return your call. Orders are going out once a week on Fridays for the time being. This will allow staff to implement social distancing measures. Please bear with us as we try our best to get you your materials. If you need them sooner, email us and we can send you a digital copy of what you ordered.
Please, enjoy some of our Project Archaeology lessons and do not hesitate to contact us. Our thoughts are with you, your families, and communities during these uncertain times.
