More Information: The 3-day Project Archaeology workshop instructs participants first-hand how to help students practice the basics of inquiry-based learning through cross-curricular, student-centered lessons that teach cultural understanding. Each participant will receive the curriculum guide Project Archaeology: Investigating Shelter for grades 3 through 5, which supports the goals of the Common Core and integrates English, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. Workshop participants will be able to teach students to analyze artifacts, primary documents, and oral histories related to authentic archaeological sites in their local area.
