We are very pleased to announce that Ms. Dani Hoefer, retired Colorado teacher, recent graduate of the 2013 Project Archaeology Leadership Academy, and part time archaeologist, has been selected to fill the open position on the Leadership Team. Dani has nourished a long term interest in archaeology through her travels in Thailand, India, and Europe. She became involved with Project Archaeology when she took a workshop in 1998 while working as a volunteer on the resurvey of the Rocky Mountain National Park archaeological and historical resources. Since graduating from the Leadership Academy in June, Dani has already been doing a lot in Colorado to revitalize the state program through the Colorado Council of Professional Archaeologists.
Many thanks to Gail Lundeen (Missouri) who is leaving the Leadership Team after six years of stellar service. Gail did a wonderful job during her two terms on the Team and we really appreciate her great ideas, enthusiasm, and unflagging support.
