Call for Posters
Submit a poster proposal to participate in the Poster Session of the 2016 conference. Poster abstract submission deadline is October 1, 2016, 150 word limit. We encourage students and state coordinators to submit posters.
Guidelines for poster presentation:
The poster display area for graphics and a textual summary is 4′ (height) × 8′ (wide). Each space has a 15″ × 4′ table area in front of it where handouts or samples may be placed. Text should be limited to four or five pages of double-spaced, 16-20 point text. Mounting supplies are not provided by Project Archaeology; presenters need to have their own pushpins or double-sided tape for their displays. Electricity is not available.
Each poster display should include a lettered sign giving the title and authors. The sign should be 6″ in height and up to 8′ long and be mounted at the top of the board.
How much time presenters spend with their posters is up to them. Since one of the clear advantages of poster presentations is sustained interaction with the “audience,” we encourage you to stand by your poster during the exhibition.
If you have questions about posters, contact Project Archeology Lead, Jeanne Moe, at 406.994.7582 or e-mail email@example.com
