Reminisce about your days of school outings with a field trip program for grown-ups! We will sip on a signature cocktail and engage in museum activities popular in school field-trips to awaken the “child-at-heart”!
Join Project Archaeology on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 4:00 – 6:00 pm for themed cocktails and fun activities about Denver and Colorado history in the historic Capitol Hill home of Titanic survivor, Margaret “Molly” Brown.
A group will leave the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Denver at 3:30 PM and walk to the Molly Brown House Museum to begin the special event with a cocktail at 4:00 PM (21+ beverages and ID required). Read the Romanesque architecture designed by legendary architect William Lang. Explore the exhibits at this historic site and analyze an artifact. Culminate the experience with a tour and flash curation of the Molly Brown House Museum. The house is a beloved local landmark that now operates as a museum to tell the story of Margaret “Molly” Brown, who was also an amateur archaeologist and dedicated to political activism, philanthropy, and humanitarian aid.
$24 advance registration is required for the event*. Register by April 1, 2025. A link will be sent to you to pay online through a secure site. Transportation is not provided. This is a Society for American Archaeology Special Event that is open to teachers as well.
