Saving archaeological sites begins in the classroom. Project Archaeology is a national archaeology education program that promotes the understanding, appreciation, and preservation of our shared cultural heritage through education. More than 20,000 educators have participated in PA professional development. These educators have used our materials to instruct an estimated 402,100 students annually.

The conference is professional development for the Project Archaeology network of state coordinators, master teachers, facilitators, and anyone who is interested in joining us to connect people to the past to protect and honor our shared cultural heritage.
