Explore the past through evidence from an archaeological site in the Four Corners! Investigate an Ancestral Puebloan archaeological site from the classroom and learn about the people and cultures living in the region today. Only 16 teachers will be selected for this incredible experience and each will receive:
- $100 travel stipend
- Award-winning educational materials aligned to standards
- Lunches and field trip transportation
- Guided half-day field trip to select local archaeological sites
- Cultural presentation by a local indigenous elder
- Certificate of Completion for 30 PD contact hours
- Two graduate university credits for $46 (optional)
Plus, all teachers will be entered into a drawing to receive an Archaeology Teaching Kit for their school valued at $149.00.
