Wrap Up and Action Items
We will start at 9:00 am and wrap up by 4:30 pm. I do not have our room assignment yet, but will let you know as soon as I have it. Looking forward to seeing you in New Orleans!
World Heritage Day
On April 18th, stop by the Project Archaeology booth at the SAAs to celebrate World Heritage Day (International Day for Monuments and Sites). We will be accepting donations to support the Project Archaeology program’s efforts to promote the understanding, appreciation, and preservation of our shared cultural heritage through education. #WorldHeritageDay
The legacy of today’s archaeologists will hopefully consist of a better public understanding of the past; an understanding of the important role of archaeology in that pursuit; and the preservation of the nation’s broad archaeological heritage. As an education program, Project Archaeology checks all those boxes.
